The author has focused chiefly on the issues of perception of time and space by "sensibils". He has compared their opinion to the Medieval ideas about time and space. For the sake more detailed understanding of this nowadays quite widespread category of people one part of the paper is focused not only on analysing the meaning of the term "sensibils", but also on their clasification according to the character and way of obtaining their unusual abilities. Simultaneous, the author presents some ethnographic data on the "semi-daemonic" creatures (a soothsayer, a shaman, a wizard, a witch) known in the folk belief, as a grounds for basic comparison. The comparison may point to a significant congruence as well as certain continuity of ideas about activity of these creatures preserved in the folk tradition of Slovakia on the one hand, and current ideas about abilities of "sensibils" on the other.

The author traces the disproportion of statistic accounts of declared and real ethnical identification of Gypsies in small community of Plavecký Štvrtok. Collective identity is connected with the reflection of the ethnicity of ancestors local belongings. Refusal of gypsy-identity is at the some time also the refusal of certain social status.

Photographic pictures belong to the sources which the Slovak ethnologists are working with. It is necessary to mention that the work with the "picture" in wider sense of word has its large reserves.
We reflect that the "picture" is the immutable source of data of certain society in given historical period but nevertheless we do not consider it as equal informatic basis. It serves merely as the supplement or resurrection of implications which were concluded on the base of the study of other sources. Cacellation value of pictures (in this study of photographic pictures) retains unchanged in time. For to decode them we have to know the surrounding in which they were created; the stimulus which formed them and not less important is information of their "next life". The author, on concrete corpus of photographic pictures, tried to show the possibilities which offers their decodation.
